Bayer MaterialScience LLC has released two documents relating to new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Significant New Use Rules (SNURs). The first is a “question and answer” document pertaining specifically to the recently proposed SNUR for Toluene Diisocyante (TDI). The second is a” frequently asked questions” document pertaining generically to SNURs, but which can also assist in addressing questions about the recently proposed SNURs for 12 isocyanate-based chemical substances which were the subject of premanufacture notices (PMNs).
